A Beats Give Back Fundraiser: Silent Auction at Sheltair Aviation

A Beats Give Back Fundraiser

Gratitude in Every Beat: A Night to Remember

Thank you for making Beats Give Back a reality! Your support at our first event is proof that music, community, and giving back can create real change.

The event was truly special β€” years in the making. Artists, vendors, consultants, and volunteers all came together with one shared goal: to give back through music. It was inspiring, emotional, and powerful. It reminded all of us why we do this work.

We worked with long-time friends and trusted partners. Nomad Sounds handled the speakers, Guerrilla Productions provided lighting, and the venue was generously provided by Sheltair Aviation. The Beats Give Back and House Hats teams collaborated on the concept and layout.

Who was the system integrator?
We handled that in-house. Our team is small but mighty. Special thanks to Jolene Swift, our VP, who led the silent auction effort with Grace Seymour. Nicole Poplawski, Lucia, and Michelle Miggins helped shape the atmosphere. Jensen Diaz, Stephen Sherer, Kai Seymour,Jose Lopez, Tayler Scharg and the rest of the Beats Give Back, House Hats, and Sheltair teams made this possible. It truly took a village.

Where was the event held, and how many people attended?
The event took place at Sheltair Aviation, right at Tampa International Airport. We welcomed over 1,000 guests throughout the day.

What was the silent auction, and what was its goal?
The silent auction ran from 3–6 PM and featured 16 incredible items donated by our team, friends, and community. These included a signed Tom Brady helmet, a Lightning jersey, EDC Orlando tickets, and artwork from renowned Florida artists. The goal was to raise funds to purchase equipment for our Joshua House studio β€” and together with event donations, we raised $8,000 net for the cause.

We raised $8,000 net to fund our first music education studio β€” a huge milestone for us. But beyond the money, the exposure was massive. We saw a huge spike in emails, website traffic, and community members asking how they could get involved. We’re already planning the next event and expanding our programs. This was just the beginning.
